WHAT A DAY!

The 2026 Royal Sutton Fun Run was a truly outstanding success, bringing together thousands of runners, walkers, volunteers and supporters for one of the Midlands’ most cherished community events. From the electric atmosphere at the start line to the celebrations at the finish, the day once again demonstrated why the Fun Run remains such a special fixture in the Sutton Coldfield calendar.

The iconic 8.5-mile route through Royal Sutton Coldfield and Sutton Park welcomed participants of all ages and abilities, many running in support of local charities and good causes. For more than 40 years, the Royal Sutton Fun Run has helped raise millions of pounds for charitable organisations, and we hope the 2026 event will make another significant contribution to that remarkable legacy.

Following such an amazing event, we’re delighted by the fantastic response to Early Bird registration for the 2027 Royal Sutton Fun Run. So many people have already secured their place on next year’s start line, and we’re excited to see the enthusiasm building for another unforgettable event.

If you haven’t yet registered, don’t worry. Early Bird registration has now closed, but registration will reopen on 30th January 2027, giving you another opportunity to join us for this iconic community celebration.

Whether you’re taking part with family and friends, as part of a workplace team, or raising money for a charity close to your heart, the Royal Sutton Fun Run offers a unique chance to be part of something truly special.

Their hard work, alongside the efforts of our volunteers and supporters, helped create an exceptional experience for everyone involved.

Most importantly, the Royal Sutton Fun Run continues to showcase the strength of community spirit across Royal Sutton Coldfield, bringing together residents, schools, charities, businesses and community groups in a celebration of health, wellbeing and local pride.
