Bus/Train Service Changes
Sunday 31st May 2026, 4am to 4:30pm
There will be road closures in Sutton Coldfield for the Royal Sutton Fun Run.
During this time, services 5, 6, 71, 77, 907, X3, X4, X5 & X14 will be diverted.

Temporary Bus Stops
1. Queens Street, opposite Aldi car park
Services 5. X4. 77. 907. (X3. X5 to Birmingham) Blue Arrow
2. Holland Road at Duke Street
Services 5. (X4. Sutton Turn Backs). 907 Red Arrow
3. Upper Holland Road after the junction of Lower Queen Street
Services 6. X14. X4 to Falcon Lodge and Minworth, X3. X5 from Birmingham Plum Arrow
Diversions for Affected Train Services
Please note that there will be a disruption to Cross City rail services between Birmingham New Street and Lichfield Trent Valley from Friday, 29 May to Sunday 31st May 2026, due to major bridge works taking place along the route. To help participants and spectators travel to the Royal Sutton Fun Run on Sunday 31st May, replacement bus services will be operating for affected train journeys. We recommend allowing extra travel time and checking your journey with your rail provider before travelling on the day.

Sutton Coldfield Station
Inaccessible from the start of the day until 4:30pm due to road closures.
Rail Replacement buses will use Regency Road (near Holy Trinity Church) as the temporary stop until 4:30pm
After 4:30pm, buses will resume serving Sutton Coldfield Station directly.
Four Oaks Station
Inaccessible from the start of the day until 4:30pm
Rail Replacement buses will pick up/drop off on Mere Green Road (opposite Lidl) until 4:30pm
After 4:30pm, buses will resume serving Four Oaks Station.

A Stagecoach staff member will be positioned at the temporary stop to assist rail customers and provide guidance.
