The Royal Sutton Fun Run is delighted to announce that HS Sports Limited, one of the UK’s most established names in sporting event timing, results, and live event data, will work in partnership with the Directors of the Royal Sutton Fun Run to organise this much-loved community event.
With over 40 years of experience supporting sport at the highest level, HS Sports has played a key role in major events across athletics, motorsport, cycling, equestrian, and mass participation running. Their portfolio includes work at the 1992 Summer Olympic Games, as well as the Winter Olympics in Lillehammer and Salt Lake City.
For more than 30 years, HS Sports worked closely with World Athletics, delivering timing and data services at the World Athletics Championships. Alongside this international expertise, the company also delivers its own UK mass participation events, including the Mad Dog 10K in Southport and the Potters ’Arf Marathon in Stoke-on-Trent, managing everything from early planning through to event-day delivery.
Led by directors with more than 40 years of combined hands-on experience, HS Sports brings proven expertise, reliability, and attention to detail to every event it supports. The team is known for its innovative use of industry-leading technology, including advanced chip timing solutions and robust online entry platforms that simplify administration and improve the overall runner experience.
HS Sports has also been involved with the Royal Sutton Fun Run for many years, working behind the scenes to support registration services and timing tag systems that help deliver accurate results and a seamless experience for runners. This new partnership with the Fun Run Directors marks an exciting next step – ensuring the event continues to be professionally delivered, while keeping its friendly and community spirit at the heart of the day.
“We’re incredibly proud to be working alongside the Directors to help organise the Royal Sutton Fun Run,” said Graham Smith, Director at HS Sports. “Having supported the event for many years, we know just how special it is to the local community. We’re excited to build on what already works so well, and to help make the experience even better for everyone taking part.”
Nicola Davies, Royal Sutton Fun Run Director, added: “We’re absolutely delighted to be working with HS Sports this year to organise the event together. They already know the Fun Run inside out and share our passion for keeping it safe, welcoming, and enjoyable for the whole community. We’re really looking forward to working with them to deliver another fantastic day in Sutton.”
This partnership will ensure the Royal Sutton Fun Run continues to be delivered to a high professional standard, while staying true to what makes it so special – a fun, inclusive event that brings the community together year after year.
