Free CPR Courses across Royal Town

January 3rd, 2024

The Royal Sutton Fun Run, in partnership with award-winning Sutton Coldfield based, CPR Counts is putting on four CPR courses, one in each of the first four months of 2024.

The four ‘Basic Life Support’ courses covering heart attack, cardiac arrest, use of a defibrillator and choking, will be held at different locations across the royal town, at different times of the week.

The first three courses are already full with details of the fourth in April to be confirmed at the end of February.

Fun Run Event Director, Tracey Spare said: “You never know when you might need to administer CPR and quite possibly save someone’s life, as was the case at last year’s Royal Sutton Fun Run.”

The course is free and lasts approximately two hours, fifteen minutes.

Tracey added: “Although the courses are free, those attending are more than welcome to make a cash donation on the day which will be put towards the cost of purchasing a portable defibrillator.”

Places are limited and will be reserved on a first to register basis.
