Darren Langley has designed & built the new Fun Run web site
Sutton Coldfield based Darren Langley Web Design & Marketing has designed and rebuilt the Royal Sutton Fun Run web site www.royalsuttonfunrun.org
Fun Run Event Director Tracey Spare said: “Darren was keen to get involved with the Fun Run and offered to redesign and refresh the Fun Run web site ahead of this year’s milestone 40th Royal Sutton Fun Run.
“In recent years, online registration has become the norm for most people, so it’s critical our web site is visually appealing and easy to navigate.
“The web site has become critical for recruitment during the key registration period, and we’re thrilled with the new design Darren Langley has created.
“Working alongside The Curry Design Studio, Darren has retained the core ‘royal’ colour scheme which reflects the status of Sutton Coldfield and introduced imagery which conveys the ‘Fun’ side of the event.”
Darren Langley, a member of the Sutton Coldfield Chamber of Commerce said: “As someone who lives and works in the royal town, I fully appreciate the affection many people across the town and further afield have for this unique annual fundraising event
“The atmosphere in the town on Fun Run day is very special and the sponsorship money generated and distributed to charities and voluntary organisations is vital particularly post Covid and during the current cost of living squeeze.
“To have the opportunity to be directly involved with the event was an opportunity, not to be missed and I’m delighted the organisers are happy with the end product.
“We’re delighted to be supporting the event as its new digital partner and excited to see so many people visiting the new web site to register for this year’s event on Sunday, 4 June.
“We’ll be introducing some new features and content as we move towards the event itself in a few months including a link to view official course times.”
Registration for this year’s 40th Royal Sutton Fun Run continues until all 5500 places are booked or Easter Monday, 10th April.
